  • Amber Fort:

It was the Meenas king called Raja Alan Singh Chanda who built the fort and was later occupied by Kachhawa Rajput. Tourists are attracted to Amber Fort for its artistic style where it combines Rajput as well as Hindu fundamentals. The best part of the fort is that it has cobbled paths, large ramparts, and sequence of gates and also oversees the Maota Lake in the front.

    The Amber Fort is also called as Amber Palace. The tourists should also make a note that monument fee is included in the package and hence they need not purchase tickets. A guide would be provided who would explain in detail the history and other aspects related to the place visited.

  • City Palace:

    The next place the tourists explore is the palace complex in Jaipur called the City Palace which comprises of Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and other buildings. This place is familiar as it was Jaipur Maharaja's seat, and head unit for Kachwaha Rajputs clan. A part of Chandra Mahal has been turned into a museum whereas the major part of the Mahal is still being maintained as a royal residence. The northeast part of the palace presents gardens, alignment of courtyards and buildings. The palace was built by Sawai Jai Sing II between 1729 and 1732, who was also the ruler of Amber.

  • Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal:

    The meaning for Hawa Mahal is also meant to be the Palace of Breeze or Palace of winds. It was in 1799, that Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh built the palace and was designed by Hindu god Krishna who came in the form of Lal Chand Ustad. It is a unique five-storey building which is kindred as a bee comb with 953 windows. It is through the small windows, the Maharaja's wives look without being noticed by commoners. The beneficial factor of the Mahal is the lattice work done which paves way for fresh air and perfect breeze for state rooms. Hence the palace earns the name Palace of winds.

  • Lunch:

    During lunch time, tourists have flavorsome lunch at Multi-cuisine restaurant after which the next session starts.

  • Jantar Mantar:

    The next spot is Jantar Mantar, where it has a series of astronomical instruments which the Mogul's followed to predict the future. The outstanding feature of Jantar Mantar is the world's largest sun dial from which the perfect movement of the sun can be viewed.

  • Jal Mahal:

    The next sight would be the Jal Mahal which was built by Maharaja of the 18th century as a duck hunting lodge. The Mahal looks like floating on still water on Lake Sagar. Tourists can visit the palace from the banks of the lake. It takes about 30 minutes to visit the Mahal.

  • Big Handicraft Shop:

    Tourists can bag varieties of souvenirs and trendy clothes which were actually developed from the rural cottage industry of India in this big handicraft shop.

  • Departure:

    Once sightseeing of Jaipur is complete, tourists are dropped at Jaipur railway station to board Ajmer New Delhi Shatabdi express which departs at 17.50 Hrs. Tourists return back to Delhi with sweet memories. Tourists are to pay additional charges if they desire to travel to the guest hotel and them to New Delhi railway station.
